Here are some highlights from The Happiest Hour event! We would like to thank everyone that came out and made this evening both immensely rewarding and enlightening. Big thanks to Bridgitte Maxwell from Maxwell Shellfish for educating us on oysters and how to shuck them, but also for sharing some of her family’s rich history as baymen and baywomen. An equally big thank you to Hammerbacher for starting a conversation on both where and how fresh ingredients are cultivated, and how that can be utilized to elevate the food culture here in South Jersey. Seeing our ingredients through from cultivation, to harvest, to presentation and seeing the joy on your faces reminds us why we love doing what we do. Until next time!
